Police authorities in Canada’s capital city of Ottawa have started to round up persons involved in the now three-week-long protests by truck drivers who opposed the government’s vaccine mandate. Two days after Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau invoked emergency powers, the crackdown on truckers who participated in the protests continue as he orders the country’s banks to freeze the accounts of those involved in the demonstrations. 10 Ukrainian websites under cyberattack

At least 10 websites in Ukraine were reportedly hit on Tuesday by a cyberattack of possibly Russian origin, more than a month after 70 sites were also hit which officials said was the handiwork of Russian security services. Officials said the websites of the country’s Defence Ministry, armed forces, foreign and cultureministries were attacked, including two state banks – the Oschadbank State Savings Bank and Privatbank — two of the country’s largest financial institutions. Authorities are still investigating the mysterious death of around 100 yellow-headed blackbirds that just fell off the ground while flying mid-air in the northern Mexican city of Chihuahua.
